Q. Does the hair shed or tangle?
Rich & Ritzy extensions do not tangle and have very minimum to no shedding. Very minimum means you will never notice a decrease in volume or density. All hair that is manufactured to be stitched on a weft may experience a small amount of shedding which is considered normal. However, heat damage and over processing will cause shedding. To minimize heat damage, be sure to apply heat protectant before thermal use. To avoid over processing, always allow a licensed professional hair stylist to color your extensions.
Q. How much does each bundle weigh?
Each bundle is weighed at 90-100 grams which is equivalent to 3.1-3.5 oz.
Q. What color are the extensions?
Rich & Ritzy extensions will range between a natural 1b and #2, but some bundles may be lighter. Hair cannot be ordered in jet black but can be dyed to achieve your desired color. Our product is 100% virgin human hair and each individual piece comes from a single donor, so we cannot guarantee hair color.
Q. How many bundles do I need?
Rich & Ritzy recommends for the desired length of 12-16" inches – You will need 2 bundles or more....Lengths 18-24" inches- You will need 3 bundles or more... Lengths 26-30" inches- You will need 4 bundles or more.
Q. Can the extensions be dyed?
Our extensions are 100% virgin human hair therefore it can be bleached, rinsed and dyed all different shades (We strongly recommend that a licensed hair professional color it for you.)
Q. If I straighten my extensions will it revert back to its natural state after being washed?
The body wave texture only has a slight wave pattern so after heat has been applied to it so many times the extensions will be trained to stay straight, and the pattern will not come back. All other textures will revert back, but the pattern will not be as tight. If you purchase these textures, we suggest that you wear them in its natural state first and then after you are tired of wearing it naturally curly/wavy then apply heat for a different look.
Q. How long do the extensions last?
With proper care and maintenance our extensions can be reused and reinstalled from 6 months (minimum) to 1+ years. In most cases, some of the hair will get cut when your beautician styles it, so when it is time to reinstall your bundles, we suggest you purchase one new bundle to add in which will replace those pieces you will not be able to reuse due to cutting short layers or bangs.
Q. How often can I wash my extensions?
You can wash your extensions as often as you like. When washing your extensions be sure to use sulfate free products only to keep your extensions nourished, soft, and manageable. Avoid using tea tree and mint shampoos as they can cause your extensions to matte when shampooing. Try to use products designed to detangle, moisturize, smooth, shine and protect against split ends.
Q. Can I blow dry my extensions?
Yes, you can blow dry your extensions, but it isn't the best thing to do for the longevity of the hair. As we all know applying a lot of heat cannot only damage your natural hair but your extensions as well. You want to limit the amount of heat you apply to your extensions. The preferred method for drying Rich & Ritzy extensions is to let it air dry or sit under an overhead dryer. In cases where you may not have enough time to let it air dry, blow dry until it is damp and then finish blow drying the hair completely on cool setting.
Q. Should I seal my wefts?
Sealed wefts are optional but not mandatory. We maintain a very high level of quality assurance and our wefts are doubled stitched to minimize shedding little to none.
Q. Do you refund/exchange?
Due to health regulations and the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns. All sales are final. If you are dissatisfied with the color, it is not considered a defect. We do apologize, however we will not grant an exchange.
Q. Do you offer OVERNIGHT/Expedited SHIPPING?
Unfortunately, not at this time.
Q. How long does it take for me to receive my order after it is placed?
Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and 2-4 business days to ship.
Q. How long after I purchase, will I receive a tracking number?
You will normally receive a tracking number 2-3 business days (excluding weekends) after your purchase. When your label is printed; tracking is automatically sent to your email and you will receive the same tracking number when the package has been taken to the post office. All Packages are shipped through USPS. If your tracking number does not show any tracking updates within 72 hours after you've been sent tracking information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include your name and order number.
Q. Do the extensions blend well with natural hair?
Our extensions can blend with every texture of hair from every ethnicity. If you do not feel your hair will blend or it isn't long enough to blend, we sell closures and frontals made of the same great quality as our Rich & Ritzy bundles. We recommend you schedule a consultation with our licensed hairstylist.
